Julia Müller - Bootswerft Rolf Müller AG

Julia Steiner-Müller

After graduating in Business Administration, Julia Steiner-Müller, Rolf’s daughter, has taken the lead of the company in January 2021.

Since she was a child, Julia has been always fond of aquatic sports. Her wish is to lead the company with the same commitment and dedication as her father did. For this, she is assisted by a team of professionals with long lasting know-how and experience in the nautical field.

Areas of responsibility: organisation in the office, sales

Martin Steiner

Together with his wife Julia, Martin Steiner has taken the lead of the company in January 2021. Martin is in charge of the workshop and its organisation.   Thanks to his fascination for water sports, Martin Steiner joined our team in 2017. Originating from the building and construction business, he is technically well-versed and supports the team with much dedication.

Areas of responsibility:  Workshop, Hauling and launching boats, rigging work, lacquer work and general overhaul work on plastic, wood and steel boats, sales.

Rolf Müller

As a young boy Rolf Müller was extremely fascinated by the water and early on decided to train to become a boat builder. After several years of experience, he took on a business education with the motivation to build up his own business. In 1970 Rolf Müller founded the Rolf Müller Boatyard AG, which he run with dedication and commitment untill end of 2020.
Janury 2021 Rolf has passed the lead of the boatyard on to her daughter, Julia and his son-in-law Martin Steiner and stays on their side as a consultant.

Areas of responsibility: sales

Thomas Früh

As a trained boat builder, Thomas Früh was workshop-manager for several years at a renowned shipyard on Lake Zurich. He brings a deep knowledge and a lot of experience around boat building.
His passion for sailing took him around the Atlantic for a year and a half. Single-handed he crossed the Atlantic twice with his 31 feet sailing yacht.
Because Hallberg-Rassy yachts have always fascinated him, Thomas decided in 2008 to be part of the construction team of Hallberg-Rassy in Ellös (Sweden).

Area of responsibility: Overhaul and conversion work on plastic, wooden and steel boats, hauling and launching boats, rigging work.

Tobias Michel - Bootswerft Rolf Müller AG

Tobias Michel

Tobias grew up at Lake Constance. He discovered the fascination for the aquatic sports during his childhood. As a professional cabinetmaker, he has been working for more than 20 years in a boatyard. Tobias has joined our team in Fall 2020 and reinforces it with much know-how and commitment.

Areas of responsibility: Hauling and launching boats, rigging work, lacquer work and general overhaul work 

Fredy Etter

Cabinet Maker by passion with lots of skills and over 35 years of experience, Fredy Etter takes care of all things to do with wood. Since 1995, Fredy Etter has been a trusted employee of the boatyard and is in the meantime in charge of further responsibilities within the company.

Areas of responsibility: Cabinet maker work, winter storage organization, transport and maneuvering of boats

Béatrice Schäfer

…is the friendly voice on the phone – both in German and her mother tongue French, as well as English, Italian and Spanish. Béatrice Schäfer completed the School of Commerce in Lausanne. After a few long stays abroad, she became Rolf Müller’s assistant April 2017 in all administrative areas.

Areas of responsibility: Correspondence, finances, accounting
